Character pages shall provide information on the characters that are a part of Honkai Impact 3rd. The next sections will explain the guidelines for the Character pages and what should be included. Character pages that do not follow this manual of style will be considered as stubs.

Main Page

Main Description

The Main Description shall start first with the name of the character in bold, and then shall describe the story role of said character in the story, a game arc or a manga volume, with the present tense. Then, information about the titles and positions the character is known for should also be written, with the present tense if the status of the character is Alive or Unknown, and with the past tense if the status of the character is Deceased or MIA.

Character Infobox

The Character-specific infobox shall have its information filled out correctly, however, if an information listed on a row is unconfirmed, unknown and/or nonexistent, the row shall be left blank. The following sections explain how each rows should be completed:

Profile

  • title1: Title of the infobox (Unnecessary to change most of the time)
  • image1: Image of the infobox, with the image of the most visible and full appearance of the character in it
  • caption1: Caption of the image in the infobox (Discouraged to add)
  • aliases: Nicknames and known aliases of the character (Ex: K-423)
  • age: Age of the character
  • birthday: Birth date of the character (Ex: December 7, 1998)
  • origin: Country/continent the character comes from (Ex: Japan)
  • species: Species of the character (Ex: Human)
  • gender: Sex of the character (Ex: Female)
  • status: Current situation of the character (Ex: Alive)
  • height: Height of the character in metric system (Ex: 163cm)
  • weight: Weight of the character in kg (Ex: 49kg)
  • hair_color: Color of the hair of the character
  • eye_color: Color(s) of the eyes of the character
  • relatives: Family members of the character (Names of the relatives must be linked if they have a page)

Extra

  • affilation: Organization the character is in (Ex: Schicksal) (If the character had joined another organization before, it should also be listed in with a (Formerly) next to the name) (Names of the organizations must be linked if they have a page)
  • occupation: Position of the character (Ex: 2nd Herrscher)

Media

  • first_appearance: First appearance of the character in the game, the manga and/or the visual novel
  • last_appearance: Last appearance of the character in the game, the manga and/or the visual novel (This row shall only be completed if the character is unknown, MIA or deceased)
  • voice_actors: Voice actors of the character in CN and JP

Appearance

The appearance section shall first describe the physical look of the character, such as their height, hair style and color and/or eye color, with the present tense. For the outfit descriptions, if the character described is playable, each of their battlesuit looks shall be described

  • in a bullet list,

with the battlesuit names in bold. However if the character described is unplayable, only their most popular outfits should be described. Kiana Kaslana (K-423) is a good example of how playable characters' appearances shall be described and Cecilia Schariac page is a good example of how unplayable characters' appearances shall be described.

Personality

The personality section shall describe the personality that is seen from the character with the present tense. However, if the character has a personality development throughout the story, their oldest seen personality should be written with the past tense, and their development shall also be written along with its until their most recent personality that is seen, with the present tense.

History

The history section shall describe the past of the character progressively in chronological order, mentioning moments of the character that are old from the current story and were only seen in flashbacks, with the past tense.

Visual Novel

If the character appears in a visual novel, their story in the VN shall be written in this section instead of the History section, with the present tense.

Manga Story

If the character appears in a manga volume, their story in the manga shall be written in this section with the present tense. The title of the manga volume describing a part of the character should also be mentioned in a sub-heading2 or with 4 equal signs at first before starting to write the description. The chapters shouldn't be mentioned, but each paragraph must be easy to read and avoid making a clutter.

Game Story

If the character appears in the game, their story in the game shall be written in this section, with the present tense. The chapters shouldn't be mentioned, but each paragraph must be easy to read and avoid making a clutter.

Abilities

If the character has special abilies or powers that differ from average humans, it shall be written in this section, with each abilities listed

  • in a bullet list,

their names in bold and an example of each abilities described.

Trivia

Fun facts or other information about the character not belonging to any of the sections listed above shall be included in this one. The correct tense, whether that be present or past, must be used for each facts stated.

Non-Canon Story

If a non-canon story of a character has to be described, it shall be done so in this section with the present tense, after every other sections listed above, starting with a "NonCanon" template, whether that be from the manga or the game.

Spoilers

Spoilers for the characters start when their story which is not released in global or SEA servers while only released in CN server is described (which is discouraged to add) and when their story in APHO is described, besides for APHO-only characters. To warn and hide those spoilers, they shall first start with the "SpoilerTag" template and should be hidden with the "spoilerblur" span.

Templates

  • On the top of the page, a "Tabs" template shall be added with at least 2 tabs, one leading to the main page and the other one leading to the gallery subpage.
  • If a character article is incomplete, a "WIP" template shall be added on the top after the "Tabs" template.
  • If the character described is non-canon to the main story, a "NonCanon" template shall be added on the top of the page after the "WIP" template.
    • However, if only a section of the story of the character is not canon, the template shall be added only above the said section.
  • At the bottom of the page, navigation boxes templates related to the current status of the character shall be added. Each navigation boxes are seperated through organizations, with one of them listing characters that do not belong in any organization listed in List of Organizations, which are "NavBoxSchicksal", "NavBoxAntiEntropy", "NavBoxWorldSerpent", "NavBoxFireMoth", "NavBoxOthers" and "NavBoxEvents". If one or several of those navigation boxes are added, the "NavBoxCharacters" template should be added next.

Categories

The order of the categories are added into this order, from first to last:

  • Characters
  • [Species] (Ex: Human)
  • [Status] (Ex: Alive)
  • [Gender] (Ex: Female)
  • [Era] (Current if the character appears in both eras)
  • [Previous Era] (If the character appears in the previous or previous and current eras)
  • [Affilation] (Ex: Schicksal)
  • [Rank] (Ex: S-Rank Valkyrie) (If the character is a Schicksal Valkyrie with a confirmed rank)
  • [Family] (Ex: Kaslana family) (If the character has a category for their own)
  • [Stubs] (If the character page is incomplete)

Gallery Subpage

A gallery subpage is placed to add a gallery filled with images of a character, whether that be from the game, mangas, or VNs, with each image described in a caption.

Game

This section of the gallery shall be used to add images of the character from the game. The gallery shall be added in a tabber to be able to seperate and circulate through different images of the character without mixing their categories. The order follows this:

  • Costumes
  • Stigmata
  • Dorm
  • Cutscenes

If an image of the character comes from a non-canon content of the game, then a notice, (Non-Canon), shall be written next to the name of the tab in the gallery tabber.

Manga

This section of the gallery shall be used to add images of the character from the mangas. The gallery shall be added in a tabber to be able to seperate and circulate through different images of the character without mixing their volume panels. The order of the volumes follow their numbers.

If an image of the character comes from a non-canon content of the game, then a notice, (Non-Canon), shall be written next to the name of the tab in the gallery tabber.

Visual Novels

This section of the gallery shall be used to add images of the character from the visual novels. The gallery shall be added in a tabber to be able to seperate and circulate through different images of the character without mixing their VN scenes. The order of the volumes follow the VNs' chronological order.

CG Animation

This section of the gallery shall be used to add images of the character from animation CGs. The gallery shall be added in a tabber to be able to seperate and circulate through different images of the character without mixing their animation scenes. The order follows the release date of each animations.

If an image of the character comes from a non-canon content of the game, then a notice, (Non-Canon), shall be written next to the name of the tab in the gallery tabber.

Merch

If a character is featured in a merch, this section of the gallery shall be used to add images of merchs featuring the character. The gallery shall be added in a tabber to be able to seperate and circulate through different images of the character without mixing their categories. The order follows this:

  • Figurines
  • Keychains
  • Packages
  • Cushions

Templates

  • On the top of the page, a "Tabs" template shall be added with at least 2 tabs, one leading to the main page and the other one leading to the gallery subpage.
  • If a character article is incomplete, a "WIP" template shall be added on the top after the "Tabs" template.
  • At the bottom of the page, navigation boxes templates related to the current status of the character shall be added. The only categories that shall be applied on character gallery subpages should be the following:

  • Characters
  • Gallery
